I became a nanny for a neighbor of mine. She had 3 beautiful children, 2 boys and 1 girl. I helped with household chores such as cooking, straightening up, helping the kids clean their rooms, and sometimes even laundry. Picking the kids up from school was apart of my everyday duties as well as taking them to after school activities. When we arrived at their home, I allowed 30 minutes of relaxed time (which included tv, playing in the backyard, or puzzles and coloring books) after those 30 minutes were up, they started on homework while I prepared lunch for the following day for them to go to school, any questions they had I was right there to help! Afterwards, sometimes I would read to them, help clean their rooms, sit down and talk about their day, or if I had to stay long enough they would help me in Read more the kitchen while I prepared a quick meal for dinner, and then showers, teeth brushing, and off to bed they went. I learned so much about those children which prompted me to learn so much about myself. I absolutely fell in love with every single one of my responsibilities and genuinely cared for that entire family. I am certified in first aid and CPR, currently saving up to buy a space to start my future Daycare "Under Miya's Care". Children are my passion. Teaching, having fun, setting examples, and keeping them out of harms way is what makes me happy! 😊
