My name is Jennifer Travis and I am 24 year old that has been working in childcare for the past eight years. I recently graduated from George Mason University last summer and am looking for a nanny/babysitting job before I start my career in marketing. I worked as a camp counselor at Fairfax County Parks and Rec for four years, working with children from the age of 4 years old to 14 years old. I have also been a nanny for 3 different families with children varying from 3 months old to 12 years old. The first family had 2 children around the ages of 5-6, the second family had 3 children (including a 3 month old, 3 year old and 5 year old) and the last family was 2 children ranging from the ages of 4-7 years of age. On top of all of that I have worked at Read more St. Louis Catholic School for the past three years in the after school education program. Working at the school has taught me a lot about child development and learning techniques that work best for certain age groups. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
