Working with children is the only dream I have for myself; it's a responsibility I want to keep learning and growing in, every possible way I can. I've experienced working in 5 different childcare centers now, and enjoyed working at my internship before graduating. Through my internship I gained more experience and confidence in teaching children and giving lessons. I have babysat a couple of times for two children (2.5 and 4.5), and also for my nephew who is 2 years old. As well, I filled in as a nanny for a family for a month in York. Before all of that, starting when I was in 8th grade and throughout high school, I volunteered each summer to be in charge of a certain age group of kids for the week of Vacation Bible School Program that was through a church. To get to be around children and focus my Read more time and energy on them is without question what I see myself doing for the rest of my life. I'm patient, caring, and reliable to enjoy and improve in this work, so I can then own my own childcare center one day.
