Hi I’m Alex! I’m currently 20 years of age and i’ve been working with kids since I was 15/16 and I absolutely love it. I’ve worked with both Compass (dycd) and the St. Nicks Alliance program. I’ve also worked for relatives and former teachers in assisting their children through learning and environmental enrichment. Working with children is amazing and they have taught me a lot and I hope to keep learning from them. The pandemic showed me just that! Virtual learning was and still isn’t easy, but it sure is interesting. Although at first I did struggle to engage the kids, (because what child wants to learn when they’re at home and have a tv in front of them) I managed to find my own tips and tricks to keep them focused at the tasks at hand.
