Hi I'm Octavia: aged 32, single (never married), non-smoker, no children, with 4+ years of childcare experience. I am certified in dental assisting (2008, twice CPR trained, PJC), but currently studying counseling psychology. I have an Associate of Arts (Southwest Minnesota State University, 2015) and I am 1 semester shy of my Bachelor of Science, concentrating in development and social sciences. My passion is working with youth and young adults. I was nanny for four years to 2 children, now aged 11 and 6. For the family I usually worked 12-hour days (both parents were supervisors), feeding breakfast, lunch & dinner, baths, homework and activities, and getting both children from their respective bus-drop locations after school. The family was military and has since relocated. When it comes to childcare I opt for routine structure, cleanliness, attention to detail, consistency, tolerance (every child has their own temperament) and enthusiasm!
