Hello! I recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and I am currently working on my Masters degree in Recreation Management. Throughout my college career I focused on providing recreation programs because I hope to rebuild my own community through parks and recreation programming. A lot of our infrastructure and systems have been neglected for a long time and it's what drove me to be passionate about what I do. I have worked and programmed for people of all ages from infants to the elderly, and I have worked in a hybrid summer camp/daycare environment. I have 1 child of my own who will be turning 2 soon, so I also have the luxury of finally experiencing being a parent full-time which has offered me more perspective on the work that I do.
