I am a Mom of 2 healthy grown children, 2 happy dogs as well as a current VPK teacher since 2007. Engaging children, getting them excited to learn in different ways ( as well as fostering their silly side) was something I loved with my own children and it's one of the things I love most about being with children of all ages...infant-school age. In addition to my Mom and teaching experience I have taken care of 2 children during the summer months since 2010 and now that they are grown and can independently take care of themselves, no longer need care, but still keep in touch often :) Because of my teaching job I am CPR and first aid certified renewed every 3 years. I continue to take ongoing child care courses to keep up to date on new studies, curriculum, and parenting news. Not sure I go a day without thinking about either one. During the school year I am available after school M-Thur 4:30-8:30. During school breaks and the summer I am available M-Thurs 7:00 am- 8:30 pm and Fridays 7:00 am-4:00 pm part time or full time.
