I have been a nanny/babysitter for over 6 years now. I babysat for most doctors' children so the hours could be long, short, at the last minute, or occasional. When I was a nanny I worked part-time at a pediatrics office, attended college part-time, and tended to the 2 children from 2:45 PM -- 6 PM on Monday through Thursdays. On weekends I would either babysit those specific children or I was contacted by another family to babysit. I appreciate when parents are descriptive on how they want my time with their children because I want them to feel as if my presence is a helping hand to their regular daily lives.
