I have been a certified baby sitter for over 8 years now. I have always loved working with kids and even before I started babysitting I worked as a mother's helper for my neighbor and her newborn baby for almost two years. I have also worked as a tutor, recess monitor, and Spanish teacher's assistant for second-grade children. My other experience includes working as a group leader for a week-long summer program called Vacation Bible School for nine years, working with mainly preschool-aged children and occasionally elementary school kids. In the past, I have worked with countless families to care for their kids as a babysitter with shifts ranging from 3-18 hours long and I have absolutely loved the work despite its occasional challenges.
