I have worked with children for about seven years. I first started in my church’s toddler ministry (ages 2-5) at the age of 13. Through this experience, I came to realize my love for working with kids. After about two years, I began working with the elementary school aged children as well. In my junior year of high school at JR Tucker, I taught kindergarten, second grade, and fifth grade classes Spanish. I have also taken care of children for friends of family several times. Along with being proficient in Spanish, I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and have successfully completed my church’s Child Protection Training. I am currently a rising junior at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am dual-degreeing in Economics and International Studies with a concentration in International Social Justice. Along with the International Studies degree I am double majoring in Spanish and completing the certification for Read more the Spanish-English Translation and Interpretation Program. I am currently working for at the Siegel Center in the VCU Ticket Office as an office assistant and with Henrico County Recreation and Parks as a Recreational Instructor. For fun, I like to sing, swing dance, paint, and craft.
