I have experience in babysitting all my life, basically family and friends. Also at my church nursery. . Being a daughter of a minister I learned many things. I served on many committees, especially church council. I retired in 2012 after a 35 year career at Bambergers/ Macys, in Inventory Control, which I enjoyed immensely. I was a ambassador for the company, which only a select few were chosen. I am very proud of that accomplishment. And also being the longest employee that worked there. After taking one year off I decided I needed to get out in the world again and have interaction with people. I first worked as a companion to several elderly persons. I liked helping them very much. I found it rewarding starting to do volunteer work with juveniles in 2013. It is the Whitehall Community Justice Panel. We deal with helping teenagers that have gotten Read more themselves in some kind of trouble, either can be fighting at school, or shoplifting at local businesses and many other various problems. I do this every other Wednesday evening. I find this volunteer work very fulfilling. This would be the time not available. I also worked as a Substitute Instructional Assistant at Northampton Area School District in 2014.. Working with Special Education students. Also a gratifying experience. Currently I work as a Substitute Paraprofessional for Catasauqua Area School District, and also Whitehall Coplay Area School District. I find being a Substitute works well for me, as it allows me to choose when I would like to work. Besides enjoying it immensely. My clearances: 1. Federal Criminal History Background Clearances. 2. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearances. 3. Pennsylvania State Police Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearances. 4. And have had a three hour Mandated Reporter Training on child abuse and neglect, which I have my Certificate of Completion. 5. Certificate of Completion in Gerontology. 2012 Of course I have the originals to show, but also can give copies of these credentials . I live in Catasauqua, and feel very comfortable traveling only to my immediate towns. Example, Catasauqua, Northampton, Whitehall, Coplay, Cementon, Hokendauqua, Egypt, and Stiles. I am only looking for small occasional work. Thank you!
