Hi! My name is KarenElaine, and I am a reliable, compassionate, organized, enthusiastic, creative, and fun-loving caregiver! I am a graduate from the University of Cincinnati, and I have my BA in Communication and Organizational Leadership. I would be happy to discuss the needs of your family to see how I can make your lives easier. I have experience caring for children ages birth to 10 years old. In addition, I have experience with twins, children with food allergies and special needs, and watching up to 4 children at a time. I have worn many different hats: before/after school nanny, newborn infant nanny, an as-needed/date night sitter, a pet sitter, mother's helper, house manager, and errand runner/personal assistant. As a sitter I like to actively engage the children with fun and creative games and activities. I've been known to help build forts and obstacle courses; ride bikes, scooters and skateboards; Read more put on talent and fashion shows; teach new songs and dances, and how to safely help in the kitchen with lunch prep or baking; take walks; go to the park or a museum; toss a frisbee or football; and last but not least, I have done hundreds of arts and crafts projects. After all activities I try to stress the importance of cleaning up after one project before moving on to the next. I am an animal lover! I have two cats of my own, and I have experience caring for puppies, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. I truly love being a caregiver. Nothing in my life has been as rewarding as the genuine appreciation parents have when they arrive home to their safe, entertained, and happy children. I love helping others and making their lives easier!
