For years, I've worked with children in the YMCA. In After Care, I acted as a counselor at various schools in the Warren County area. The children would range from kindergarten to sixth grade. I helped with homework and play games with them. I've also worked at YMCA summer camps, both day and overnight. It was long hours with very minimal breaks, but it was incredibly rewarding. There's nothing more challenging, yet incredibly rewarding to me than working with children. I also work as a substitute Teaching Assistant at various schools in the Warren County. My staple school is BOCES: Sanford Street TLC, which is special needs children ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade.
