I have four years of experience in child care. I have worked with children ages 3-13. My responsibilities have included preschool teacher, after school care, lesson plans, assisting in pre-k, and subbing where needed. Last year was my first year as a full time preschool teacher. It was the most rewarding year of my life. I managed a classroom of twelve children. I encouraged creativity through art and music. Open play time was so important to help build social skills in my classroom. My classroom had a few special needs children. This made my first year a challenge, but it taught me so much. Personally, I came from a large family full of lots kids. I've been babysitting since I was 15 years old. I love animals. I spent a year volunteering at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. My hobbies include crafting, baseball, and photography.
