I would first like to say that I have five children of my own...one of whom is a teenager. I've enjoyed every moment of being a mother to my children. I've have found very rewarding employment opportunities within the Springfield school system working with children of various ages and backgrounds....even some with special needs. Although I am an adult, I must say that I have a great appreciation for children...I enjoy the honesty and sheer life that being around children exuberates. Furthermore, I tend to have a very "motherly way" of interacting with children of all age ranges...they are the future and I always try my best to let a child know that they can be and do whatever it is that they put their mind to...no such thing as "I can't"...I also believe in leading by example...so very important.
