I love helping children discover who they are and what they can do in the huge world around them. They're developing so much in their childhood, constantly growing, and I think it's so important to provide them with learning opportunities and a positive, encouraging environment. I employ the same philosophy in my current, full-time position as a kindergarten teacher in the public school system. I would love to reach more children with my free time on the weekends and some evenings if you are looking for a passionate, loving, responsible, and devoted educator to support your child. I graduated with highest distinction from Purdue University in 2021 with a degree in Elementary Education, minors in Learning Sciences, Global Studies, and Human Development & Family Studies. Through my college classes and elementary Read more field experiences in kindergarten to fifth grade classes, I've learned about effective teaching strategies, curriculum content, educational theories, motivation, and so much more to prepare me to be the best teacher I can be. I've also worked at several daycares with children 6 weeks to 5 years as a lead teacher (infants) and aide (all ages). In addition, I've tutored for an elementary math course, instructed for a math summer camp, taught and coordinated elementary religious ed at my local church, and babysat/tutored.
