I went to NIU and majored in Health and Human Sciences with an emphasis in Child Development and a sub-emphasis as a Parent /Infant Specialist. I recently resigned from an Assistant Director position to stay home with my daughters. I know how important great care is to an infants development and I would love to be a helpful addition to a family looking for help. I am caring, kind, and patient. I also know how to set boundaries and keep a consistent schedule with little ones. From school settings I am comfortable working with up to four infants at a time or up to 25 kindergarteners on my own. Though I am comfortable caring for many, I would really love to work with two children at a time. I feel that when you have a small number of children close in age you can easily give each child all of Read more the attention they need whenever they need it. With two it is also easy to encourage play and positive behaviors. I am great with bedtime and feeding schedules.
