Dear Parents, My name is Tari and I have tons of childcare experience. I was a live-in nanny on the east coast for 8 years. When I returned to Omaha, I was a live-out nanny for 5 years. I was a house-parent at Boys Town so I also have experience with adolescents and Behavior Modification. Prior to moving to the East Coast, I took care of an infant with Down Syndrome and assisted in implementing treatment plans individualized to his developmental needs. I am very comfortable with all ages of children. Why childcare again? I am a breast cancer survivor and have learned that life is too short and you should love what you do. During treatment, I had much opportunity to reflect. I can honestly say, the jobs I LOVED were the ones that involved caring for children. I realized those positions afforded me chances to teach, learn, laugh Read more and be amazed every day. I am mature, honest and reliable. I am not afraid to take initiative. I believe that I balance fun loving and strict very well. Children know my expectations and typically have no problems meeting them. I am a big fan of pointing out the positive. Praise and consistency is what your child will get from me for certain. So, if you are ready to leave for work and not have to worry if your child(ren) are being properly cared for; ready to come home to a clean house, clean children and a hot meal, I am hoping to work with you. I am looking forward to speaking with you and listening to what you need from a childcare provider.
