Hello, my name is Avery! I am UCLA graduate with a degree in psychology. I have been babysitting children ranging from 6 months to 11 years old for over seven years. I am the youngest of four children and I have always sought out opportunities to provide care to younger children since I am the baby in the family myself. Through the experiences of babysitting, being a youth leader, nannying full time, and being at TA at a local elementary school, I have been able to build strong relationships with parents, demonstrate a professional but fun demeanor while working, and become a supportive role model for the emotional and social development of children. While babysitting I love sharing some of my passions such as art and outdoor activities. I always encourage drawing or crafting which engages the child’s imagination and storytelling. Additionally, I find value in a healthy balance between Read more indoor and outdoor activities. I enjoy taking the children on adventures in nature such as easy walks around the neighborhood, swimming, playing at the park, etc. In addition to the fun activities I plan for children, my experience includes preparing dinners, bathing, bedtime, after school pick up, homework help, and overnight care. FULLY VACCINATED + BOOSTER I would love to meet with you in person to discuss my qualifications further.
