Hi, my name is Rebeca Martinez. I’m 21 years old, currently a college student majoring in early child development looking forward to a career in teaching. I grew up in a loveing home with three older siblings and a younger brother. In high school I started babysitting my nieces and nephews (9 nieces and nephews). I learned so much from preparing nutritious means, changing children, getting them ready for the day, being a good example and helping the children grow in a positive environment. After high school I volunteered to help with a Children’s class in my local church. It was an amazing experience where I learned to do arts and crafts, tell stores and work with children of all ages. Children are little sponges absorbing information daily. I believe they should be surrounded by responsible, loving individuals that put the children first.
