Hello, my name is Margaret! I am originally from San Antonio, Texas. Prior to moving to Northern California, I lived in Washington, DC for my undergraduate studies and then to San Diego, CA for graduate school. During my time in DC, I nannied for a family with a 6 month old boy and co taught a 1st grade classroom in a teaching fellowship program. I have over 10 years of experience in Childcare with children ages 6 month-12 years. Currently, I am in my third year as an Elementary School Counselor (K-5) and love every minute of it! I enjoy interacting with primary aged children, especially ages 4-12 years. I like the curious and playful nature of children in this age range. There seems to be an endless amount of creative play and activities that you can come up with that are engaging and fun. Some activities that I enjoy Read more doing with children include playing charades and board games, creating puppet shows and plays, arts and crafts, reading, and cooking/baking. I am a very dedicated and reliable care giver who puts the needs of your child before my own. I make play fun and creative and really try to base activities on the interests of the child.
