First, I am the eldest of five children. I was raised in a single parent household, meaning that I had to take care of adult responsibilities at a young age. I babysit my brothers often, mostly caring for the youngest two, ages fourteen and five. I was an on-call voluntary nursery worker for my previous church - duties can range from preparing snack, playing and reading with the children, changing diapers, cleaning up, checking children in and out of the nursery. The past couple of years I could not work in nursery or babysitting, as I have been adamant about pursing my education, but now I am almost finished with my AA and can dedicate my time to working with children again. I am available full-time during the Summer and Fall. I cannot provide transportation for your children, since I don't have a car at the moment. I am a Read more very responsible person with a big heart for kids, I like to have fun and read with them as well. I am comfortable preparing snacks and meals. I love to interact with children, and give them my complete attention. I thrive on being active with kids, since I have met a personal goal of losing 100 pounds. If you desire for your children to get out of the house and have activity, I'd love that. If you want me to sit inside and patiently read with or to them, I would enjoy that just as much.
