We have a sweet, fun loving 4yo girl. Ages and number of other children may vary (message for details). We are currently looking for an extra set of hands to help care for children while we are home. We would like for this to turn into a long term caregiver who can help out both when we are home and when we need a break. The ideal applicant will need to be CPR certified, submit information to our agency for a state background check and fingerprinting, and sign and adhere to a discipline policy.
We need a caregiver who is willing to practice a trauma informed parenting model (TBRI),provide extra hands during busy times of day (bedtime, project days), and eventually care for the children when we need a date night or to attend an event.
We have cats, a dog and a parrot inside the house as well as goats, chickens, and another dog outside. The ideal applicant will need to be comfortable working around these animals, but will not necessarily be expected to handle them.
Schedule will vary based on the needs our family at the time. We may request the completion of trainings through our agency, compensation would be provided in that case.
