We are a City family with one 2 year old shy and sensitive boy who's had a nanny since birth. One laid back and large dog. Child starts half day preschool in August. We have memberships to all local activities to have things to do. The child is just starting toilet training and would likely still be working on it. We are very routine oriented with gentle assertive parenting and firm boundaries.
Full time nanny (40-50 hours/week), preschool starting in August. Lunch is supplied at preschool so breakfast and afternoon snack are the only meals. Otherwise, just child laundry and dishes. Five federal holidays, some sick days, some vacation days and gas allowance. Looking for a nanny that is gentle, calm, assertive, and ambitious, finding things to do and taking control of situations.
[Very flexible start date] 10 hours per day on non-school days (7-5), on school days/weeks, it's a 40 hour guaranteed week with 38 scheduled hours. Those hours include to/from school drive time. Preschool is Mon-Thurs. Nanny schedule would be 7-8:30 then 11:30-5 on Monday-Thurs, and 7-5 on Friday.
