Hello! We are a fun-loving family in the Orland Park area with a 2-year old toddler. We would love to find a short-term nanny who can start June 3, 2024 to July 19, 2024. We are looking for a nanny that is reliable, energetic, playful and has a light-hearted, bright personality for our spunky and energetic 2-year old. Both mom and dad are attorneys, who occasionally work from home. Nanny must have flexibility to come earlier/stay later if necessary.
• Plan daily activities to help child reach developmental milestones (i.e. reading, singing, sensory play, arts and crafts, playing outside/at the park, storytime at the local library, playdates, other activities to enhance language and cognitive development);
• Prepare meals and snacks for child;
• Light child-related housekeeping while child is napping (i.e nursery/bedroom, playroom, after meals/snacks, activities
• Assist child with potty-training, when necessary
• Keep daily log for parents
June 3rd to July 19th, 2024 (start date is NOT flexible); Monday-Friday (guaranteed hours - 35+ hours)

• 3 years or more of experience with toddlers (early childhood education degree or experience with preschool programming is a plus);
• Non-smoker
• Fully-vaccinated (incl. COVID-19, flu, RSV, etc.)
• CPR or First-Aid certification
• At least 3 verifiable references
• Must practice gentle parenting/toddler redirection
