We are a young, active family with one sweet, smiley 9 month old baby boy living in Odessa (Starkey Ranch). Mom is fully remote working from home. We have one, small Jack Russell mix senior dog (13 years old and a total love bug).
Our ideal candidate has 1) significant infant experience, 2) familiarity with child development and Montessori-style play/activities, and is 3) comfortable with Baby Led Weaning. We are looking for a loving nanny to become a part of our family and provide dedicated care for our happy, silly son. Our priority is excellent care for our boy. Beyond baby care, we only ask for light housework directly related to baby (washing bottles for example). No general or family housework requested.
Schedule: 9 am - 5:30 pm M-F. We will do overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 hours/week. Hours are unlikely to exceed 42 hours/week generally. No nights or weekends would be required. Paid Holidays and PTO will be provided. We will pay 9 federal holidays (they will not be worked), and offer 12 additional days of PTO. Payment would be on a salary basis - paid twice monthly as direct deposit via a payroll company.
