Patient, professional and innovative caregiver NEEDED for a 14-year-old boy who has severe autism (he is non-verbal), ADHD and learning differences/special needs. These wonderful parents are seeking a highly skilled and trained caregiver to tag team with mom during the week! Mom is very hands on and is currently homeschooling her son, so they are looking for someone who is a strong team player with great communication skills.
In order to be considered for the position you should have 5+ years of special needs experience (specifically hands on experience working with children who have Autism and a strong working knowledge of how to navigate challenging behavior) and ideally prior experience working with teens! Behavioral specialists highly encouraged to apply!
LOCATION: Topanga, CA (5 minutes from Woodland Hills)

SCHEDULE: Monday, Thursday, Friday from 1PM-4PM + every other Saturday from 9AM-2PM
RATE: $40-$45/hr gross, depending on experience
QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with children who have autism
MUST be comfortable working as a team with mom
Teen experienced IDEAL
COVID vaccine/boosters highly preferred, although not required for the perfect fit.
