We are a family in the San Diego community of Mount Helix looking for a full-time nanny (40-45 hours/week, M-F). We are first-time parents of an almost 9 month baby boy. The father works from home, and the mother works part time from 9am-2pm weekdays.
Our ideal nanny is experienced, warm and caring, great with infants, and excited about establishing a long term working relationship. We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with babies and toddlers, and who will initiate fun, age-appropriate activities throughout the day.
Childcare is of course the top priority, but during naptime we’d like you to do some light housework.
Must-haves:
- A genuine love of babies/toddlers and spending time with them
- Nanny experience (5+ years) and great references
- Fluent in English
- Available for long term employment
- Comfortable sharing home with work-from-home parents
- Non-smoker
- TDAP vaccinated
- Willingness to do light housework / tasks (tidying, cleaning, doing dishes)
- Ability to work from at least 7am to 3pm
