Description

Hi! I’m currently living in Norfolk, VA. I have my B. S. in Speech Language Pathology with a minor in Special Education. This December I will receive my Master in Arts of Speech Language Pathology from Hampton University. I have completed all coursework and I have passed my national board exam and I am only awaiting to take my Masters Comprehensive Examination with Hampton University in October upon my program completion. Until then, I am looking for a part-time or full-time position to work with children and help families who are looking for the extra care. I believe that my academic background and training has prepared me, as I have had multiple opportunities to work with the pediatric population with a variety of communication disorders and the adult population with neurological impairments. I learned a number of valuable skills through developing and leading weekly therapy sessions with students with autism spectrum disorder, language disorders, and articulation disorders. I would love to be an asset to your family! I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have a background check and drug test that was done for my last clinical placement that I can provide. Also willing to do them again if necessary. My undergraduate and graduate employment and academic resumes are available upon request. 🙂
