Hello!
I am an energetic mother of one who loves to do crafts, spend time outdoors, and find creative ways to help kids learn while having fun.
The belief that you should lead with love and model the traits you want to see (kindness, patience, honesty, etc.) is at the forefront of my childcare philosophy. I believe that there is no such thing as a “bad child” – all children are unique and have unique needs. Meltdowns are a sign of an unmet need, not of a “difficult” child – this goes especially for children with special needs or from traumatic backgrounds.
I have experience watching up to three children simultaneously and enjoy working with all ages. I never smoke or drink, adore all animals, and have reliable transportation.
Although my ultimate goal is to find a long-term position that will allow me to be a mother and relieve some of the pressures of parenthood from another family, I am more than happy to see if I’m the right fit for your family whether you’re looking for a once-a-month sitter of 9-5 nanny.
