I’m a 55 yr young nanny with 15 years experience. that’s from newborns to 12 but the focus in my two main families have been newborn to 8 yrs.
i absolutely love the opportunity and joy of being part of watching a child develop and grow… it’s such a magical thing! i’ve been given the gift of patience, and ability to teach as I play.. and feel so fortunate to have been able to have had something i’ve loved as a job!
my current family has reached the ages where my main function is babysitting, so sadly i’ll be finding a new permanent family! but, that’s an exciting beginning for me, and hopefully for you as well.
I’m a native charlottean, I have character references that have known me my entire life, and of course my two past families as well.
i was a certified dental assistant for 20 years with all extra certifications such as first aid, cpr and nitrous application. I was recertified in cpr six years ago, but have not since. I have three children 28,29, and 32 that I adore and are local. I do not have any grandchildren! 🙁 so no competition for your little one! I have stayed for many week-end and week long stints with my current family, as the mom is from ireland. I’m also available to travel with your family as I’m not married.
i have my own transportation to your home, I’m very flexible and willing to do most things you would do if you were home.. within the realm of reasonable compensation of course. I’m a good cook, tedious at laundry and can even wield an iron!
I’m very pet savvy, have had everything from lizards to horses.
i would love to have the opportunity to provide safe and loving care for your little one in such a way that they are nurtured, loved and always my primary focus. even newborns learn as we talk to them and thrive from the care they receive. I’m always talking to a baby, because after all, one day they’ll be talking back. interactive play as they grow is always used to teach with me, with colors, numbers, beginning sounds counting etc. there will be no parking babies in front of tvs while in my care.. I love the outdoors, will swim with them take nature walks, crafts, reading always from infancy.
