Hi there! My name is Hannah and I am a nanny from Sunbury, OH. I first began babysitting when I was only 10 years old, and have been loving it ever since! I am the oldest of three children and when I was younger, loved to help my mom care for my own siblings. I love positions that are long term, learning and growing with my kiddos is one of the best things in the world! My longest position was a whopping 8 years and I wouldn’t change a second of it, as I am still a very active part of the families lives, even as they grow up and go onto college. Building another experience similar to that is something that is important to me! No matter if I have my kids for 3 months or 10 years, I love them all the same and want them to understand that they are valued and cared for. I believe strongly in education and always make it a point to foster a love for it with my kids as well. Science experiments, arts and crafts, fun trips and more are all a part of my arsenal for having fun AND learning with the little ones! Another big thing for me is building independence in young children’s lives. I love getting them involved in meal times, helping to prepare food and try new things together makes everything more fun! Age appropriate STEM materials are often used to work on fine motor skills and help continue to build those up. I like to get the kids into a semi-routine, where we have some structure to get through our day, but still have time for just being kids! If you have pets, that is no issue, I have had cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, and small furry friends of my own and would love to show your fur babies some love as well!
