I have experience babysitting since I was 9years old (first couple years were in-home daycare, while my mom was there too).I took care of a few family’s Monday-Friday while their parents worked and I did that with different families for about 7 years. I babysat at our church nursery from the time I was 9-17 usually a few days a week and for a few hours at a time (there would be anywhere from 8-30 kids and anywhere from 2-6 volunteers in total for caring for and keeping track of the kids, as well as doing various babysitting jobs in the house. Overall I have taken care of 100s of kids ranging from the ages of newborn-6 or so during the first years of me babysitting but up to about 11-year-olds by the time I was 17. I was a live-in nanny for a 1-year-old during the summer of 2014. I am currently a 23-year-old single mom to a 4-year-old boy who is currently not in school but we do lots of at-home learning. (: I am very responsible, caring, loving, and patient which is why I think I would be perfect for the job! I have more patience than a lot of people I know and I think it comes in handy in a lot of situations. I love kids (well all people in general) and I also love animals !!! I can do meal prep if needed, and I also love to clean so I can do things around the house if needed. I will be moving to Belle Plaine in the Summer, but I would not have a problem with transportation. I do have my own vehicle (2014 Nissan Sentra) and am willing to transport kiddos to wherever they need to go! I am looking for something I could potentially bring my son with me since he’s only with me for the first half of each week and with his dad the other half. So that way I can care for your children as well as mine, but if needed, my parents can watch him while I’m at work. I especially enjoy spending time with and taking care of kids, and I’m looking to get out of the restaurant business, so I look forward to hearing back from you if we could talk more about the job and/or meet for an interview sometime.
