My name is Heather Upchurch. I have had fifteen years of experience as a preschool teacher in an infant/toddler room, and a three year old classroom. I have also been a nanny for eight years with three different families, with children ranging from six weeks old to four years old.  These families ranged in parenting styles from Montessori to Friends type schooling. I learned from my various experiences how to create a safe environment to teach each individual child according to his or her needs and developmental stage. I enjoy reading to children, taking them outside to nature centers and libraries, and helping them develop. I think my experiences have made me a creative, dependable and caring nanny.
