My name is Elizabeth Leon but my family and friends call me Liz. I am a professional nanny with many years of experience. My experience with children started at San Jose Unified School District ( 1995-2001) working as a Teacher Assistant in several elementary schools. My first job as a nanny was taking care of a baby, an adorable six months baby in 2002. I stayed with this family for 5 years. I love being around children and being a role model for them is one of my main callings in life. I always want to improve my education and skills in the children educational field and in 2017 I got my Santa Clara County Day Care license. Working as a nanny has brought me many rich life experiences. I enjoyed watching the babies I took care of become happy, healthy and smart toddlers. I enjoyed watching toddlers being ready and prepared to enter to their school years. I like to know that I was and I am part of that development. I feel so touched and honored when my little ones tell me “Liz you are like my mom too”. I love being a nanny! From 2013 to 2017 I worked with a family in Los Gatos city taking care of a 2 years old boy and a 8 years old girl. From 2017 to 2019 I worked with a family in Los Gatos taking care of their 6 months old and 6 years old daughters. I left them because the girls went to school full time. I still have contact with both families and take care of their kids occasionally on the weekends. Currently I am working with a family in Saratoga taking care of a precious 1 year 5 month old girl. I started taking care of her when she was 4 months old. With all my kids I have developed a great relationship. Children not only love me but they also trust me, while they are under my care they are always happy and smiling. I have the same experience of love, respect and trust with the parents too. All my years working as a nanny are filled with love and lots of fun, and because of that I consider myself blessed and I am grateful. I lived in San Jose for almost all my life, but now I am moving with my son to El Dorado Hills at the end of May 2020. I am looking for a long term, full-time job position as a nanny starting on June of 2020. I have excellent references, clean background, and DMV and I am a Trust Line certified also. I am bilingual. I speak Spanish and English.
