I have been babysitting on and off, due to varying school schedules, for 7 years now. I have experience working with children from their very first few days up to 12 years old. I am a certified nursing assistant. I am also currently attending nursing school at washington state university and therefore have had extensive background checks and healthcare provider level cpr and first aid certifications. I have over 400 hours of time spent volunteering with children, and just last year while I was attending school in pullman I volunteered at a child care center in the newborn room for 3 months. I also have experience working with children with disabilities. throughout my 4 years in high school, I volunteered at a therapeutic riding center where I got experience working with children with autism, adhd, asperger’s, down syndrome, and children born with physical deformities. my love for children clearly goes beyond being a caregiver for them as I have decided to make a career out of it, I am hoping to become a nicu nurse or a pediatric nurse. I feel I have much to offer with my great knowledge of nursing along with my extensive experience caring for children of a wide range of ages. I am happy to try and work with your schedule and am flexible with pay. I also have my own car and can travel to you, or watch your children at my house, whatever you prefer!
