Growing up, I helped take care of my younger sister and all the cats and dogs we owned, about 20 cats and 4 dogs.  We also had a pet goat named Queebie, who taught me a few things about farm animals.  Upon having the opportunity to live abroad in Colombia, I was fortunate to own and care for parrots and teach a few of the local children in my home.   Returning to the USA, I went on to babysit, and teach in churches and daycares.

My children are grown, and I’ve continued my enjoyment of caring for them by having homeschooled my 7-year-old grandson last year and babysitting.  Whenever I get the opportunity, I dog sit as well.  I love exploring the outdoors, playing boardgames and photography.  Currently, I am a reenactor in the FTW Stockyards and enjoy having my grandson live with me, as I assist him with his studies in public school.

I am able to care for multiple children of ages ranging from 2 months to 13 years, up to 6 children at a time, and multiple pets (not more than 60lbs.), up to 6 pets at a time.  I don’t mind driving up to about 20 miles or so.  Weekdays, from 8am to 2pm are ideal and anytime on the weekends, with respect to prior engagements.  I have 3 years, experience with children requiring special attention, up to a number of 2 children at one time and 4 pets.
