I am a life long Midland, TX resident with 5 grown children and 13 almost grown grandchildren. I am a retired hairdresser with not enough things to do to fill all my available hours. Life has been very good to me but the thing I miss the most is the little children. I enjoy the outdoors and also have a real love for arts and crafts. One of my most favorite things to do was to plan the daily activities. It was very rewarding for me to think of things they could do easily and to watch them take pride in their accomplishments. When my children were small I taught Sunday school and am proud to see them still live by many of the lessons they learned at such a young age. I have done volunteer work in the schools with the reading buddy program and have worked with under privileged kids to help boost their self esteem and give them a better start in life. It would be my honor to help care for another generation of the most precious gift ever given to parents. I am signed up for the pediatric CPR/first aid course next Friday on Sept 30,
