Hi Parents!

Hi! I am a native Floridian who moved to the Pittsburgh area in June 2018 from Washington, D.C. I am originally from Florida and have been taking care of children for 20 years, since I was a kid myself.

With two decades of experience and a university education under my proverbial belt, I am firm about my rates and minimum of 4 hours.

While toddlers are my absolute favorite, I do not set restrictions on ages. You never know whether a child will really bond with you as a sitter. I meet each and every one with an open mind and an open heart.

Quick heads up: I am not available for after school positions. I’m also available for date night jobs.

Please note: I no longer babysit for kids who are unvaccinated. I often look after very young children and premature infants and simply do not feel comfortable putting their lives needlessly at risk. I also spend time with my 92 year old grandpap. Thank you for understanding.

General Policies:

1. Minimum booking is 4 hours or $60.

2. EARLY RETURNS: Because I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I ask to be paid for the entire booking, even if you come home early.

3. LATE RETURNS: I’m usually flexible on the end time of a booking, but please text/call me if you’ll be late, especially if we have not discussed flexibility beforehand.

4. I reserve the right to collect the total amount owed and leave if children and/or parents are ill and the illness is not previously disclosed. I work for a number of children throughout the week and do not want to unnecessarily make them or my 92 year old grandfather, whom I visit frequently, needlessly sick.

5. One cancellation is okay from a family, but after two I may choose not to accept any more bookings from you.

6. I do not consent to being recorded in any manner.

7. I am totally open to working interviews. I reserve in person unpaid interviews for long-term positions only.

8. For families visiting Pittsburgh, I always look for cheap parking. An uber may be requested if that’s the best option.
