I have 3 little boys of my own (ages 2, 4 and 7). I know how important it is to have an adult caring for my children who is engaged in their activates, while still ensuring a safe and playful environment. I have worked with children my entire life. I baby sat and taught swim lessons while in high school; I was a live-in nanny for a year after high school; through college I ran a before and after school care program in my local elementary school; then, upon graduation I immediately got a teaching position. I have been teaching elementary school for 17 years, the last 6 I have been working in a job share position at 2nd grade. I love being able to be a teacher and keeping up to date on the latest and greatest in my profession, while still having the time to be home with my little guys (and volunteer in my big kiddo’s class room).
