I have been providing childcare for families in the tulsa area for five years and absolutely love my job! my time spent both as an occasional babysitter and a part-time (15-35 hours a week) nanny has helped me to understand the strengths of different parenting approaches; I make it my mission to support the lifestyle of each family whom I serve.

five years of frequent, hands-on experience with infants has developed my expert skills with babies. by preparing myself to maintain a gentle, patient attitude that minimizes my stress when caring for fussy babies, I am able to bring the focus back to encouraging healthy development through uninterrupted sleep and fun, interactive awake time.

my love for children spans all age groups and personalities, continuing to delightfully surprise even myself. when I first started caring for children, I was unsure how I was going to do with each respective age group. I have been so blessed to work with creative, intelligent, sweet, sensitive, thoughtful, humorous, ornery, teachable, accepting children from completely different families. I grow close to each child I work with because I find their unique personality an exciting thing to discover.

because I myself have multiple learning styles, I enjoy developing new ways to teach children that will best encourage their advancement in all areas of life. whether it is music, math, art, reading, science, or manners, I find new ways to subtly influence each child according to his or her tendencies. recipes, backyard exploration, new crafts, and spontaneous songs are just a few of my favorite things to do with children of all ages.

i am cpr/first aid certified (planned to renew in two weeks time), have wonderful references, and honest love and appreciation for all children. my promise to be responsible and professional, while remaining fun and interactive, will not be compromised.
