I have two years experience as a live-in nanny. I took care of a 18 month old boy until he turned three and a three year old girl until she became five. the parents’ worked full-time while I cared for the children. I was responsible for the children’s daily routine under the tutelage of the parents. my duties included: preparing food for the children; driving them for outside activities; picking them up and dropping them to school; light housework such as laundry for the children; potty training for little boy when he was ready; bathing them at the end of the day and supervised scheduled playdates with some classmates. I loved to take them to outside activities on nice days walking around the neighbourhood; taking them on small hikes at the park; crafting; riding scooters and bikes or just blowing bubbles. I liked taking the kids to the swimming pool and helping them practice swimming. it helped them to relax and learn more. we also did indoor activities: puzzles; play dough; drawing; role-play; writing practice for abc and numbers.
