I am a preschool teacher with my own home preschool in west asheville. my program runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and I’m looking for work in the afternoons, evenings, or weekends. in addition to working at preschools (i have also worked at odyssey community school as a preschool teacher), I have worked as a babysitter/nanny for a number of asheville families who had children ages 12 months to 4 years.
teaching and caring for children is my passion – working with them brings light and joy to my day, and I absolutely love it! I am calm, patient and understanding – these traits of my personality have grown with experience with babies and young children. I believe that babysitting is not just about ‘keeping an eye’ on children; it’s about interacting and playing with them, nurturing them.
