Throughout high school I took courses geared towards becoming a teacher/child care provider. I took a student teaching class and also had an internship at a local junior high and elementary school. I also have experience working with children at a daycare, where I worked with triplets (multiples) and special needs children. i’ve also worked with a few children and families from outside of the us who spoke little to no english. I will be entering college in the fall to peruse an education in early childhood development with hopes of opening my own child care facility. usually when I care for children I let them decide what they would like to do (as far as activities, art projects, or outside play) and I play with them. I understand that nutrition is also a huge part for your child to grow healthy, so if I am watching your child during breakfast, lunch, or dinner I will be sure to feed them a healthy and nutritious meal. I can help after school students with homework, or even assist in preparing your child for his/her next grade. I am capable of helping potty-training, swimming lessons, among other things.
