I grew up the oldest of 4 with 3 younger brothers. I began babysitting at 13, as soon as my mom would let me. I loved it. In college, I babysat my professors kids! I have volunteered at a Montessori preschool and love those philosophies. My, son, who is now 19 went to Montessori preschools and elementary school. I have been a substitute teacher for public school for all ages and a high school English teacher. In my life, I have a lot of nieces and nephews, but sadly none of them live in Sacramento. I work full time for the State Library, so I am not seeking work as much as seeking time with children. I love enjoying children, seeing their wonder, hearing their laughter and just being around them and helping them learn.
