Throughout my high school and college years I worked as a camp counselor each summer. I was also employed as a room assistant for a preschool for two of those years. Growing up I was always involved with athletics and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I was fortunate enough to be a student athlete in college as well, which has helped me maintain this lifestyle. I am currently employed as an athletic trainer at Castleton University in Castelton Vt. I am currently CPR/AED Infant, Child and Adult professional rescuer certified through the American Red Cross. Within my professional career I have been able to supervise athletes of all ages through camps put on by the university sports teams. I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Athletic Training, and have a Master's of Education as well. During my studies numerous opportunities were presented to focus on younger populations, specifically child through Read more adolescent. These studies included biomechanics, injury/illness prevention, as well as learning styles, psychology, and motivations.
