I have baby-sat young children from New-born to 10 years old for about 7 years. I was a mother's helper to my neighbor for both her boys: the older son I watched from about 3 to 6 years old, and his brother from birth to about 4 years old. I have baby-sat up to 5 children at a time under the age of 5 by myself for long hours. I've been a leader in Vacation Bible School for 4 years, guiding children from pre-k to fifth grade. I worked in the nursery at Gar-Field High for a year, taking care of a 2-month-old baby girl. I helped her switch from breast milk, to formula, to baby food, and then on to regular food.
