I have been in the childcare industry since 1989. My Master's Degree is in Education. For 8 years, I ran a daycare in a suburb of Chicago. Prior to that I worked as a nanny and a care provider for several families over the years. I have also taught religious education and worked as the Director of a Preschool for five years. I am patient and loving. My promise is to always care for your children as if they were my own. I am a mother of two adult daughters. I have experience with large families and have cared for newborn multiples. I'm also experienced with a variety of health-related issues including: food allergies, asthma, autism, fever induced seizures, Crohn's disease, colitis, celiac disease, autoimmune deficiencies, hypotonia and many other more common childhood illnesses and injuries. My children have been fortunate enough to have Christy care for them during the past few summers. Her calm and peaceful nature is always reflected in her care with the children. The environment she has created in her home can only be described as warm and cozy, a place that my children love to visit. As a parent, I also appreciate her professionalism as a caregiver, as reflected in her daily childcare logs and quick response to my questions.

Christy has been taking care of our oldest son (now 21 months) since he was 12 weeks old. He loves her and always has a great time with her. She has also been great at putting our minds at ease via updates throughout the day as well the journal sheets she does so you know exactly what went on and when. Overall Christy is absolutely amazing and we are sorry to be moving too far away to continue using her to care for our children!

Wow - Christy was outstanding with our children over the weekend. Kids are still asking when Christy is coming back. She watched them for over 7 hours and had them fed and put to bed before we got home. The best babysitter we've had to date by far.
