My first experiences in childcare began when I was just a freshman in high school. I took a summer job as a full-time babysitter for 2 small children. It was then that I realized that not only did I enjoy it but that kids liked me as a sitter too! I had a lot of energy and did then as well and always have fun playing with the kids and engaging them in activities. I have a nursing degree and have worked in both neonatal intensive care and labor and delivery. I really enjoy babies but love the full range of ages. I have taken care of families with babies ranging from newborn to pre-teen with different experiences, some with little housework, some with a lot, some with extensive driving, some with none. I have made meals, laundry, homework help etc. I would prefer part-time hours but would be willing Read more to talk about full-time if it was the right fit. I am not opposed to doing overnight help on occasion. I am good with animals (snakes and rodents, eek!). If you are disorganized and need help with laundry and cleaning, I'm your person! I'm great at organizing, cleaning etc while baby is asleep or kids are at school. I do love to have fun with them and play games and be silly. My goal is for them to be safe, feel love and have fun, while learning and growing!
