Tasheea Nicholson, is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, fierce women’s health advocate, and outdoor enthusiast. Subsequently, she has established her brand with businesses within each of these areas which all sit at the seat of her purpose - service. In 2005, her appreciation for the joie de vivre led her to start SocialBFly, a special events company that has allowed her to plan an elaborate array of both corporate and social events. In 2016 she founded Project Pixie – a community-based organization created to ensure that underserved women and girls have access to feminine care products, but it has since evolved into a much-needed tool in educating young women on healthy and positive menstrual health management. In January 2019, after 12 years of consistent upward mobility within the biopharmaceutical industry, Tasheea left her corporate job as a Pharmaceutical Account Director and set out on an alternate, and undefined, path. In the first 90 days of her "new" life, not only did Tasheea launch SoulFully SocialBFly - the health and wellness arm of her SocialBFly brand - but she also wrote a book titled: Camping Noire: the Black Girls Guide to Surviving a Weekend Unplugged, which encourages women of color to reconnect with nature by distilling 12 years of DIY tent camping experience into a must-have companion for surviving mother nature on her terms. In March 2019, Tasheea also embarked upon certification towards becoming a Mama Glow trained doula. Her decision to become a doula was for a myriad of reasons - some based on personal experiences of reproductive challenges and loss; others based on a strong desire to see improvement in the pre- and post-natal care for women of color; but also so she can provide women and couples with the information and support needed to go through the beautiful journey of pregnancy with confidence.
